BLESSING – Transition Living Home:

This is a house that runs Transition Living Home Program. This transitional housing support is equivalent to a conventional corporate foster care and a superior alternative for older youth who cannot face another placement and are committed to living on their own.

The goal of our program is to assist our individuals in developing the skills needed to self-direct their own lives in a home-like environment that demonstrates the importance and pride that can be achieved when an individual learns to care for themselves. AMAS believes that all people have the right to make their own decisions, including life goals and skills development. Our Transitional Living Home (TLH) program utilizes a “hands on” approach to independent living skill development. The individual works with support staff one on one and learns skills under the direction and instruction of the TLH staff.
