FAITH HOUSE – Respite Home For Children:
In an effort to expand services to more individuals with disabilities living in their family homes; this respite home gives them the option of living in their family home. Our respite services will support the existing stability; safety and effectiveness of natural supports which are being utilized by individual(s) living with their legally responsible adults.
The goal of this home is to provide respite care rather than long term care in order to decrease the severity of challenging behaviors, lessening crisis placement, and reducing out of home placement costs. Respite services are tailored to meet the unique support needs of each individual(s). Individuals receiving respite services will be surrounded by a loving, nurturing, and supportive environment, and the chance to develop relationships with others living in the community.
